Installing an inground pool is a very big investment, and Fun in the Sun Pools is committed to giving you the best materials, the finest workmanship, and the most beautiful designs.
Vinyl liner pools are built with zinc coated, galvanized steel panels constructed of the highest quality steel. They are reinforced by a heavy gauge adjustable A-frame brace and a concrete poured collar footing. The collar provides the structural strength of the pool as it locks the wall and bracing in a complete underground ring of concrete.
We use vermiculite for the pool floor- it is a lightweight mineral mixed with portland cement and it forms a semi-hard surface that feels slightly spongy underfoot.
Liner installation is the final process in the construction process. Most projects take about 6 to 8 weeks to complete. These pools are built to last a lifetime.
Gunite is a concrete blend of sand, cement, and water that's applied through a high-pressure hose. once it cures, gunite becomes rock hard forming a thick, solid structure. Gunite pools use a rebar framework that is sprayed over with concrete. It is exceedingly durable, so pools of this substance are built to last.
